Frankie Malacaria for Scranton City Council
Frankie Malacaria is running for Scranton City Council under the Democratic Party. A working-class community organizer, Frankie has spent the last several years dedicated to his community. Immediately following the events of Oct 7th, 2023, Frankie started a rapid response team within NEPA DSA to rally for Palestinian liberation. The following weekend Scranton had its largest protest since at least the summer of 2020. A founding member of NEPA for Palestine, Frankie continues to advocate for the liberation of all people; from healthcare for trans folks and bodily autonomy, to advocating on behalf of the people in Lackawanna County Prison.
